StarSign FIDO card
The StarSign FIDO Card by G+D Giesecke+Devrient is a dual interface card that allows contact-based and contactless FIDO transactions. G+D’s StarSign FIDO Card supports FIDO U2F and FIDO2. The card is printed as shown.
For enterprise customers the card can be optionally combined with certificate (PIV) or physical access control.
G+D’s StarSign FIDO Card supports FIDO U2F and FIDO2 in a unique hybrid mode that allows plug&play use on any FIDO U2F and FIDO2-enabled operating system and Internet browser without the need of special drivers, e.g. for Windows logon on Windows 10 or webpage login via the Internet browsers Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. The user verification can be optionally performed via a card PIN that can be individually defined by the card holder. The StarSign FIDO Card is a dual interface card that allows contact-based and contactless FIDO transactions and can be easily combined with other applications such as physical access control.
