We make sure, that following prerequisites are fulfilled on the server, we intend to install Online Password Recovery Website:
• IIS 5.0 or IIS6.0 running • ASP.NET Framework 2.0 is installed • We have local administrative rights on the computer
In our sample installation we use • Windows 2003 Server standard edition • MS IIS 6.0
1. step: installation of the files and the web application
We copy the installation file „c:\Program Files\WinMagic\SDDB-NT\Online Password Recovery\OPRsetup.exe“ from our SES database server to the local hard disk and execute it:
After „welcome“ we check the customer information and install for all users. -> Next
Now we confirm again and start the installation -> Finish (we will have to reboot the system at this point)
2.step, importing a key to access the encrypted database
As the web interface is not on the same machine as the database, we have to create access to the encrypted database. On the database server, we open SES management console and log on to the Masterkey .....
