Entrust Entelligence Messaging Server is available on an appliance platform, which means this solution includes hardware, operating system, all supporting applications (including an embedded Certification Authority) and ongoing online updates.
This Messaging Server provides email encryption capabilities that support a wide range of encryption options including OpenPGP, S/MIME e-mail encryption standards - the Messaging Server manages and retrieves transparently existing S/MIME and OpenPGP external user certificates - and SSL encryption for web-mail to securely serve all E-Mail receivers without encryption possibility. It even supports mobile email clients such as BlackBerry and HTML-enabled, browser-based cell phones.
It uses the embedded, standards-based Certification Authority to generate certificates for external users and new S/MIME proxy certificates when necessary for BOTH internal and external users, of course it integrates with existing Microsoft and Entrust PKIs as required.
The Entrust Entelligence Messaging Server provides comprehensive system management, administration, reporting and auditing capabilities to meet the most stringent IT requirements, it includes a system dashboard, a message-tracking interface and various reporting and diagnostic tools.

Entrust Messaging Server is deployed in some of the largest banks - the Entrust large scale deployment capabilities have been proven-in. So also this solution support load-sharing and fail-over requirements by enabling the clustering of multiple Entrust Entelligence Messaging Server appliances.

Entrust Entelligence Messaging Server enables increasing layers of security through integration with optional solution components such as portal authentication systems, content control, email archiving, storage area networks, anti-spam/anti-virus, SNMP monitoring and multifactor authentication.
Customers are able to use strong authentication of external web users through integration with Entrust TruePass and RADIUS for Administrator Authentication. There is seamless integration with an external Entrust Authority Security Manager Installation for credential management (Messaging Server and Security Manager required)
In addition to the Messaging Server, customers can use the Entrust Entelligence™ Security Provider, which delivers managed Entrust digital IDs across applications via thin-client enterprise desktop security software. It can be used in conjunction with Microsoft Outlook’s native S/MIME email encryption capabilities to provide end-to-end email encryption capability - but in conjunction with Messaging Server avoiding the threat of unscanned content.
Or customers use the Entrust Entelligence™ Email Plug-in for Outlook, which enables users to encrypt and digitally sign messages via an easy-to-use plug-in for Microsoft Outlook that integrates with Entrust Entelligence™ Desktop Manager.
