Gemalto Smart Enterprise Guardian (SEG)

The Smart Enterprise Guardian is based on the .NET-card technology and Lexars hardware and is one of the first personal portable security device (PPSD) that offers secure portable memory with AES 256-bit hardware-based encryption and strong authentication using the built-in .NET Card (Gemalto Protiva Strong Authentication One-Time-Password or PKI services). Native support for the device is built into Windows Vista™ and 7. For older Windows Versions a Windows Update is available (Microsoft Base Smart Card CSP). The SEG features an intuitive user interface, requires no software set-up and delivers the highest levels of security and convenience.
