Gemalto PC Pinpad

The GemPC Pinpad (Gemalto PC PinPAD) from Gemalto has a Pinpad for secure pin entry via PC/SC2 standard and a top-quality 2x16 alphanumeric display as well as two LEDs for indicating the status of the reader (e.g. it indicates the secure pin-entry)

The GemPC has a very appealing and emotive design, making it a show-piece on each desk (and not a functional security device), and is catching the users eye by its comfortable handling. Because of its 300 gram weight and rubber knobs, it isn't slipping over the desk and is really one-hand-operable.

Important for technicians - Gemalto typical - is the broad range of driver support from Windows, Linux, MacOS to Solaris.
