Gemalto USB Key Token V1 (Reflex 531)

The Gemalto USB Key Token V1 (Reflex 531) is a USB Shell connector for USB-Smart Cards, like the e-gate seires from Gemalto (Axalto, Schlumberger) or certain JCOP cards. USB-Smart Card means that the smart card has the USB interface electronics incorporated on the chip - so it communicates via USB-Protocol to the computer. Therefore the "driver for the reader" of the card, e.g. the e-gate readerdriver, has to be installed. The USB Key Token V1 / Reflex doesn't need any driver, it is only the connector between chip contacts and USB - standard ISO compliant smart cards can not be used with this USB-connector.

Of course the cards have to be in ID-000 format. (SIM cards), after inserting and closing, the token can't be opened any more - it is like a standard USB-Security-Token.
