Secure Doc Hard Encryption Client - Licencing

WinMagic’s SecureDoc Hard Disk Enryption solution is facing the security requirements of an organisation with mobile workers. It protects sensitive and confidential data on notebooks by encryption of the whole hard disk with AES 256 algorithm, solving all problem areas of encryption. Because the hard disk is encrypted and decrypted in the background - fully transparent to the user, there is no possibility of a maloperation. The user has to authenticate himself once - and then he has nothing extra.

Additional SecureDoc offers 1-, 2-, or 3-factor authentication of the user at "pre-boot-time", because all system files of the operating system are encrypted, authentication has to be done before. Multi factor authentication is reached by supporting many smart cards, USB-Token, biometrics and PKI-solutions.

It is possible to use the WinMagic SecureDoc Client as standalone version, but we recommend for your company to use an SecureDoc Enterprise Server for simple rollout, administration and recovery.

Licence Model

The licencing of SecureDoc is based on client licening, which quantitiy scales starting from € 129.

Included in the licence are updates and support for the first year. Support and maintenance for more years has to be purchased separately but prices are lower, when purchased with originating order.

Licences for the SecureDoc Enterprise Server has to be purchased separately.
