A.E.SafeSign is a software-package inluding PKCS#11 module and MS CSP, which is allowing other applications to use hardware-token like smart cards or USB-Token. With PKCS#11 and CSP it is possible to store and administer public or private data on such hardware tokens - commonly private keys and certificates. But not only encryption, authentications and signatures can be done, also initialisationlike key generation, pin-definition or certificate enrollment will be done. SafeSign is working with PC/SC compatible smart card readers and a range of smart cards with STARCOS.
