A.E.T. SafeSign is a software package which main modules are the GINA
, a PKCS #11 module and a smart card CSP
(Cryptographic Service Provider) for STARCOS cards also possible a Java Card handling library (PKI Java Applet, Applet Loader) for Java cards.
The GINA supports using pinpad smart card readern (class 2 or higher) - the Reiner SCT cyberjack Pinpad
is supported.
There is also a Token Management Utility resp. Administration Utility for users and administrators and further modules like the Certificate Registration Utility, the Netscape Installer, Entrust Installer, for comfortable use of smart cards with PKI-enabled applications. A.E.T. Safesign uses and creates a PKCS #15 compliant card structure for their data.
For A.E.T. SafeSign are licences per "Hardware-Token" (in use) necessary. (per card licence) For substitution of a smart card there is no new licence required.
