A .NET Framework adopted for smart cards is running on the .NET card, which allows developers the use of .NET features on smart cards.

There are the MS Minidriver assembly, for using the card with the MS Base Smart Card Provider, als well as the Protiva OATH OTP Assembly, which generates One Time Passwords for authentication on systems with Protiva OTP, present on the card.
