The Mifare Standard 1k contactless card is compliant to the ISO 14443 A standard for contactless smart cards. This pack contains 10 pcs blank mifare cards.

The advantage of such cards is the contactless transmission of energy and data, which is recommended in challenging or heavy used environments and speed up workflows and maintenance effort. This cards need a special RFID reader for contactless cards , e.g. Cardman 5121 RFID.

16.06.2011: Because of the 4-Byte limit all possible Unique Identifiers are depleted. New produced mifare-chips are now offered by NXP in two different versions:

- 4 Byte Non-UID
- 7 Byte UID

With 4 Byte Non-UIDs double chip-IDs are possible. There is no guarantee that the 7-Byte UID cards are compatible with systems other than NXP. Compatibility between the new 4-Byte Non UID cards and exitsting systems can't be guaranteed.
